Of being a labour

Happy labour day peeps!  Believe it or not, this is my very first time celebrating labour day. As in celebrating, 'celebrating' it. It's been about 7 months now since I first started working. Wow. 7 months. It felt just yesterday I finished uni, had my graduation, being unemployed for at least 8 months :p But believe it or not, public holiday aside, I'm actually stuck at home, finishing up my work! *sulks*

I'm chasing deadlines here. It's not like I'm working just for fun or that I can't go one day without working or anything like that. Believe me when I say that the moment my bond with S* ends, I'll be the first one to hand in my resignation letter sabatical letter :p

So far, I'm loving what I do. Despite the long meetings and the never ending discussion. But don't get me wrong, the idea of getting married, have kids and finally quit my job to sit around the house and just take care of my kids and cook for my husband is still there (yes, I'm 'that' kind of girl). I'm good with my work. But I think I'll be an even better housewife one day :D

Anyways, speaking of work, I get to go out a lot meeting people from various international institution. I love meeting new people of course. The only downside is that, it makes me miss my second life! My student life.

Gosh, I used to have so much fun going to everyday classes and geek-ing for the exams! (Yes, I was 'that' nerd -_-") All of these meetings make me miss studying so much. And to be frank, I can't wait to go back to school.

Randomly, I find myself browsing through the course catalogues, checking out the enrollment dates and googling places that I can visit while I'm there. Honestly, it makes me wish that I'm young again, back in school, worry free etc.

If only life is that easy right? :)
